Araraquara reports active counts for health and endemic combat agents

The Araraquara City Hall provided data regarding the number of active health professionals following inquiries from City Councilor João Clemente. The Municipal Health Secretariat reported that the city currently has 222 community health agents (ACS) in service, with 212 actively working, while others are on leave or transferred to different sectors.

Regarding endemic combat agents (ACE), the Secretariat stated there are 127 total staff members, with 109 actively working in the Environmental Health Surveillance Division. The report also detailed recent hiring trends for both roles over the last five years to assist in monitoring the municipal health network's capacity for basic care and disease prevention.
