Araucanía Binational Games to be held in Chile this October

The 33rd Araucanía Binational Games are scheduled to take place from October 25 to 30 in the Los Ríos region of Chile. The event will feature various disciplines, including athletics, basketball, football, swimming, and volleyball in Valdivia, while cycling will be held in Río Bueno-La Unión and judo in Panguipulli. Table tennis will make its debut in Futrono.

In preparation for these games and the Evita National Games in Mar del Plata, judo selection trials were held during the Copa Hikari in Viedma, Argentina. The competition drew over 400 athletes. Río Negro aims to defend its title in the binational tournament, where it has secured six consecutive championships, and seeks to improve upon its third-place finish in the national Evita Games.
