Araucária recognized by Sebrae-PR for entrepreneurship development

The municipality of Araucária has been recognized by Sebrae-PR as a regional leader in the Cidade Empreendedora program. In the 2025 evaluation, Araucária achieved the highest score among the 35 municipalities in the Eastern Regional and ranked among the top ten large cities in the state of Paraná.

The recognition is based on the Municipal Business Environment Development Index (IDAN-M), which assesses the conditions provided by municipalities to support businesses and income generation. Araucária received maximum scores in five specific criteria: Market Access, Associativism and Productive Inclusion, Debureaucratization, Municipal Management, and Leadership. The city's performance in leadership is attributed to the work of the Araucária Economic Development Council (Avançaraucária), which involves local government participation.

Additionally, the city's Entrepreneur Space has maintained the Sebrae-PR Gold Seal for six consecutive years, a certification awarded to service centers that exceed 90 points in quality of service and citizen support.
