ARBA delegation visits Salta to boost tax technology cooperation

A delegation from the Buenos Aires Province Tax Agency (ARBA) is visiting Salta to strengthen technological cooperation and coordinate tax collection efforts. The visit includes meetings with Salta’s Minister of Economy and Public Services, Roberto Dib Ashur, and the General Directorate of Revenue.

The agenda focuses on modernizing control and collection systems through the exchange of technological tools and experiences. A key component of the visit is an inspection of the upcoming Salvador Mazza Border Control Post, a strategic location on the route to Bolivia intended to combat smuggling and tax evasion.

This cooperation builds on previous initiatives, such as Salta’s 2025 adoption of the Transfer Operation Code (COT), which utilizes GPS technology to monitor the movement of goods and ensure proper tax compliance.
