Arbo and A Coruña host major cultural and sporting events

The municipality of Arbo is set to host a major boxing gala on Saturday, October 24, at the Municipal Pavilion. Following a sold-out 2025 edition, the event features over five matches, headlined by local boxer Dani Castro. Organized by the SAGABOX Sports Club with support from the Arbo Council, the Pontevedra Provincial Council, and the Xunta de Galicia, the event aims to promote the sport and encourage youth participation.

In A Coruña, the XXI Cycle of Galician Choirs is presenting a cultural program running through September and October. Held at venues such as the Teatro Rosalía de Castro and the Fundación Luís Seoane, the cycle focuses on three themes: the works of Castelao, the traditional culture of the Lugo mountains, and the legacy of music collector Alejandra Murguía de Castro. The program includes theatrical performances, workshops on traditional instruments like the pandeira and Galician horn, and concerts dedicated to regional musical heritage.
