ARC Raiders 1.39.0 Patch Overhauls Matchmaking and Fixes Bugs

Embark Studios released ARC Raiders version 1.39.0, bringing a major update to the game’s matchmaking system. The patch tests a new defensive PvP model that removes any impact from self‑defence on a squad’s playstyle rating, counting only the team that initiates combat. It retains earlier improvements such as separate solo, duo and trio matchmaking tracking and optimisation from earlier updates.

The update also resolves inconsistent damage for Seeker and Wolfpack grenades, fixes map and UI bugs, improves audio cues, and corrects several cosmetic issues. A new Dweller Outfit is added to the in‑game store, and the ARC Raiders × THE FINALS crossover continues until 30 July.

Embark said it will monitor player feedback and data in the coming weeks to decide whether the defensive matchmaking change becomes permanent.
