Arc Raiders: Guide to obtaining Planks and Sheetmetal

In the Arc Raiders Frozen Trail update, players can acquire Planks and Sheetmetal to unlock the Outpost, a feature essential for late-game progression such as blueprint crafting and weapon amplification.

Planks are primarily found in residential areas like Buried City, Dam Battlegrounds, Blue Gate, or Pendola Pass by searching drawers in houses. Sheetmetal is most commonly located in technological and industrial areas, such as Stella Montis, by searching containers.

For efficient collection, players can purchase both materials from the trader Celeste using Assorted Seeds. She offers unlimited supplies at a cost of 3 Assorted Seeds per item. Alternatively, players can farm Sheetmetal on Pendola Pass by searching the Commissary Supermarket, Old Town, or Almatera Station, looking for loose loot on shelves, tables, and in lockers.
