ARC Raiders introduces ARC Frigate and Outpost base-building

The Frozen Trails update for ARC Raiders introduces significant new gameplay mechanics, including the ARC Frigate and the Outpost base-building system.

The ARC Frigate is a new map condition that can spawn on nearly any map. During this event, which typically lasts about an hour, standard loot on the map is drastically reduced and keycards for loot rooms become unusable, as most valuable items are located on the Frigate itself. Players have approximately 35 minutes to board and loot the vessel. Success requires heavy firepower to combat swarming ARC units and specialized equipment such as looting augments, strong shields, and healing supplies.

The Outpost is a new end-game feature available once players reach Level 18. Through the Sheltered Retreat Project, players can build, decorate, and research advanced gear to amplify weapons. Unlocking the Outpost involves a three-stage process: photographing a house near the Ruined Homestead on the Blue Gate map, collecting specific materials like planks, sheetmetal, and Arc Alloy, and completing subsequent project stages.
