Arc Raiders player count hits seven-month high following update

The release of the Frozen Trail update has driven Arc Raiders to a seven-month high in concurrent player counts. Following a period of declining engagement that saw Steam player numbers drop as low as 10,000 in September, the game saw a significant spike, with over 166,000 players logged onto the PC platform alone.

Launched on October 8 across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S, the update introduces the Pendola Pass, a new snowy mountainous region. Key gameplay additions include new enemy types such as the Bully, Skulker, and Hydra, as well as new tools like the Grappling Hook and the Tether Launcher. A free weekend running from October 8 to 12 is also contributing to the increased player activity.
