ARC Raiders producer encourages players to take breaks

Aleksander Grondal, a producer for ARC Raiders, is encouraging players to take breaks from the game and explore other titles when new content is not being released. Speaking to GamesRadar, Grondal noted that the rapid consumption of content by players often outpaces the ability of development teams to create it, leading to developer burnout.

Embark Studios has shifted its strategy to focus on larger, less frequent updates rather than constant content streams to manage this pressure. Grondal suggested that a higher rotation of players moving between different games could benefit the entire industry. He noted that players should return to ARC Raiders once several updates have been released. The game is scheduled to receive the Frozen Trail update on October 8, which will introduce a new ice map and new enemies.
