ARC Raiders receives major Frozen Trail update and free trial

Embark Studios has released Frozen Trail, the largest update to date for the extraction shooter ARC Raiders. The 2.0 update introduces the Pendola Pass, a vertical, snowy mountain region featuring new map conditions such as Frigate and Redirection.

Key content additions include new enemies—Bully, Skulker, and Hydra—alongside new weapons like the Bantam and Stiletto. Players can also utilize new tools such as a grappling hook and tether launcher. The update features a revamped skill tree, a new Reward Pass system, and the introduction of Outposts where players can build and customize bases using a new research bench.

To coincide with the launch, a free trial period is available on Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S until October 12. During this time, players can experience the full game at no cost. Additionally, various discounts are being offered on several platforms.
