Arc System Works launches Guilty Gear Strive anime series

Arc System Works has released the first episode of an official short anime series for Guilty Gear Strive. Titled “The Melancholy of Erica Bartholomew,” the comedic episode follows the character Erica in her role as the Chief of Staff to the President of the United States, offering a look at her daily life.

The developer noted that the events depicted in these shorts are not connected to the game’s primary storyline. Guilty Gear Strive, led by Daisuke Ishiwatari, features hybrid 2D and 3D fighting mechanics and has surpassed four million players. The game is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
