Microsoft adds 10 new games to Xbox Game Pass for August 2026, including Gears of War beta

Microsoft announced the August 2026 lineup for its Xbox Game Pass subscription service. Ten new titles will be added between 6 August and 18 August, with the open beta of Gears of War: E‑Day available to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members from 6 August (early access) and expanding to all subscribers on 13 August. The new games include the action‑RPG Beast of Reincarnation (Game Freak), the sports simulation Cricket 26, the dating‑sim Date Everything!, the indie platformer Ball x Pit, the sandbox builder Sandustry, and others such as Monsters are Coming!, PowerWash Simulator 2, Bounty Star, Grounded 2, Mio: Memories in Orbit, and Egging On. Four titles – Menace, Atlas Fallen, Aliens: Fireteam Elite and Firewatch – will leave the service on 15 August. The announcements were released in multiple markets, confirming the same schedule across Italy, Germany, Norway, Japan, Brazil, Spain, Mexico and Denmark.
