Arc System Works releases Donutal adventure game on Steam

Arc System Works has released Donutal, an alien inspection adventure game, on the Steam platform. Set in the year 2206 at an international spaceport built from the former International Space Station, the game tasks players with the role of Chief Extraterrestrial Counsellor.

Players must navigate high-stakes dialogues to interrogate diverse extraterrestrial visitors, including Martians and Octo-people, to determine their true intentions regarding tourism, immigration, or criminal activity. The gameplay focuses on interrogation techniques, such as selecting which two individuals to interview simultaneously from groups of up to eight, as social dynamics and pairings influence the information gathered. Decisions made during these screenings impact the ultimate fate of Earth.
