Arc System Works reveals new trailer and pre-orders for Qliphah In Providence’s Shadow

Arc System Works has released a new gameplay trailer for its upcoming tactical counter timeline RPG, ‘Qliphah In Providence’s Shadow’, and officially opened digital pre-orders for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PC.

Set in a post-collapse Tokyo, the game follows protagonists Soma Hoshigami, a courier caught between humanity and monstrous ‘Anomalies’, and Rena Hizuki, an elite investigator. The narrative involves investigating a demonic drug known as ‘Tiny True’ and a mysterious cult to prevent the total collapse of reality.

The gameplay features a central Timeline system where players strategically use red, blue, and yellow skills to counter enemies. Players can switch between characters to utilize ‘Buddy Counters’ and cinematic ‘Secret Arts’.

Early purchasers or pre-order customers will receive three additional character skins for the protagonists and access to ‘Voidfall’, a high-difficulty battle mode consisting of 16 encounters. A physical release for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5 is scheduled for September 24 in Europe, including a limited Deluxe Edition via Red Art Games.
