Operated by the Svolta Group, the restaurant's name translates to “ark” in Latin, symbolizing a training ground where young chefs can develop their individual talents and carve out new paths.

Former footballer Hidetoshi Nakata, who frequents the establishment, noted the convenience of its late-night availability, mentioning that it accepts customers until 1:00 AM on weekdays. The menu focuses on an a la carte style, featuring specialties such as crostini topped with tuna tartare from Yama Koji. While sharing ingredients with its sister restaurants, arca maintains a more accessible price point.
