Arca Çorum FK receives €2‑3 million from Savaş Balçık for stadium upgrades and Super Lig promotion

Arca Çorum FK’s president Savaş Balçık has provided the bulk of the club’s recent financing, covering about 60‑70% of its 2022‑2023 season costs. The sponsor contributed roughly €2‑2.5 million in shirt‑sponsorship fees, far above market rates, and funded a €2.5‑3 million renovation of Çorum City Stadium, adding hybrid turf, under‑floor heating, new lighting, sound systems and electronic advertising boards.

Assistant president Feyyaz Gökel reported an additional investment of around 200 million Turkish lira for two hybrid training fields and modern facilities, enabling the club to enter the Super Lig debt‑free. Balçık also pledged close to €30 million overall to support the club’s rise, stating the long‑term goal is not merely domestic league survival but competing in European competitions.
