ARCA to auction 35 seized PlayStation 5 consoles

The Agency for Revenue and Customs Control (ARCA) has authorized a public electronic auction of seized technology products, including a lot of 35 PlayStation 5 consoles. The auction is scheduled for Thursday, September 24, starting at 11:00 AM.

Each console has a starting bid of $350,000, which is significantly lower than current retail market prices. The final price will be determined by the highest bidder during the live auction. Each unit includes a single joystick but does not come with video games.

The auction will be conducted entirely online through the Banco Ciudad bidding platform, allowing any adult resident in the country to participate. Items are sold “in the state in which they are found and exhibited,” and authorities recommend that interested parties carefully review technical descriptions and photographs on the official portal before bidding.
