Arcadia eFuels secures fuel offtake and electrolyzer deals for Denmark project

Arcadia eFuels has secured several key agreements for its Project Endor in Vordingborg, Denmark, aimed at producing sustainable aviation fuel (eSAF). Uniper has signed a binding offtake agreement to purchase 40,000 tonnes of eSAF annually once the project begins supplying fuel, which is expected in the early 2030s.

To support production, Plug Power Inc. has signed a 280-megawatt electrolyzer supply agreement with Arcadia eFuels. The facility is expected to produce approximately 110 tons of hydrogen per day using Plug’s GenEco electrolyzers and renewable grid electricity. This hydrogen will be combined with captured carbon dioxide to create synthetic fuel.

Additionally, Plug Power has been named the preferred supplier for four other Arcadia developments across Europe and the Americas, representing more than 1 gigawatt of potential electrolyzer capacity.
