Arcadia Shipmanagement adds new Suezmax tanker Aegean Miracle to Greek fleet

Arcadia Shipmanagement, owned by Panagiotis and George Aggelopoulos, took delivery of a new Suezmax tanker called “Aegean Miracle”. The vessel was built at the HD Hyundai Samho shipyard in Ulsan, South Korea, and was handed over in late June. The naming ceremony was attended by Anna Maria Aggelopoulou, daughter of George Aggelopoulos, and senior shipyard executives Kim Jae Eul and Yong‑Ha Yeo.

The Aegean Miracle is the third ship in Arcadia’s recently launched Suezmax series, following the “Aegean Fighter” and “Aegean Winner”. With this addition the company’s fleet now totals nine vessels and it has already ordered two more sister ships slated for delivery in 2028 and 2029. In total the firm plans to acquire 17 Suezmax tankers from Hyundai, making it the shipyard’s largest customer for this vessel class and supporting Arcadia’s strategy of modernising its fleet with high‑efficiency, next‑generation tankers.
