Finebaum criticized the media's approach, describing some reporters as a “pack of wolves trying to get meat” and suggesting that Manning’s reticence is a response to “stupid and bogus questions.” Finebaum noted that modern athletes like Manning no longer rely on local media for reach, as they can connect with millions via social media.
