Archaeological artifacts return to Ischia for exhibition

A precious votive relief, currently held at the National Archaeological Museum of Naples, is returning to Ischia for a temporary exhibition. The artifact will be displayed at the Archaeological Museum of Pithecusae in Lacco Ameno from October 16 to November 30.

This initiative establishes a dialogue between the two museum institutions, aiming to reconnect historical artifacts with their original geographic contexts. The National Archaeological Museum of Naples holds significant Ischia-related collections, including Bronze Age findings and Nitrodi votive reliefs, which serve as vital links to the island's ancient settlements and maritime history.
