Archaeological Museum of Alghero reopens with improved accessibility

The Archaeological Museum (M?SA) in Alghero has officially reopened following renovations and upgrades. Graziano Porcu, president of the Fondazione Alghero, stated that the project was made possible through PNRR funds dedicated to digitalization, innovation, and the removal of physical and cognitive barriers to improve accessibility.

The reopening was timed to coincide with the feast day of San Michele, the city's patron saint, and included a period of free admission for all citizens. Porcu emphasized that the museum is a collective achievement involving multiple administrations and the work of the Fondazione Alghero offices.
