Archaeological sites in Spain are seeing significant investment and research activity to bolster cultural tourism and historical preservation.

In San Pedro Manrique, the Los Casares Celtiberian site has undergone improvements through the Soria Provincial Council’s Tourism Sustainability Plan. An investment of 33,000 euros has been used to renovate the laboratory facility and upgrade visitor information systems. These updates include new interpretive signage and QR codes that utilize augmented reality to provide historical context to visitors.

Meanwhile, the Confloenta archaeological site in Segovia is experiencing high visitor interest, averaging approximately one hundred daily visits. Recent excavations led by researchers from the University of Salamanca have uncovered remains of the western portico of the Roman Forum, dating back to the 1st century AD. The site features a pillared space and urban remains that highlight the area's significance as a central public space in the Roman city.
