Archaeology lecture and nature documentary highlight human history and existence
Professor Małgorzata Kot, an expert in Paleolithic archaeology from the University of Warsaw, will deliver a lecture titled ‘A Day in the Life of a Neanderthal’ at the Muzeum Zamek Opalińskich in Sierakow on April 24, 2026. The presentation will explore Neanderthal daily life, survival technologies, and recent archaeological findings regarding their intelligence and culture.
In separate cultural news, the documentary series ‘Wyjątkowy gatunek’ (Unique Species) is available on the ARTE streaming platform. Narrated by Krystyna Czubówna, the series examines the place of humanity within the cosmos and the tree of life, questioning human exceptionalism by comparing our lifespan, size, and adaptability to other species on Earth and the scale of the universe.
