Archbishop Adrian Galbas urges catechists to defend Church mission

During an annual catechetical briefing held at the Temple of Divine Providence in Warsaw, Archbishop Adrian Galbas addressed religious educators ahead of the new school year. In his homily, the Metropolitan of Warsaw emphasized that the mission of the Church includes the courage to speak the truth and say ‘it is not allowed’ when encountering actions contrary to faith or conscience.

Galbas urged catechists to be prepared to face consequences for defending Gospel truths rather than remaining silent to protect social status or personal interests. He specifically highlighted the protection of human life and the traditional definition of marriage as core responsibilities. He also noted that the Church must present its teachings clearly to prevent young people from drifting away due to perceived ambiguity.
