Archdiocese of Arad hosts religious youth camps in Bârzava and Moneasa

The Archdiocese of Arad has launched new initiatives for youth and children through religious summer camps. In Bârzava, the ‘Vlăstare de Credință’ camp was held from August 24–25, 2026, involving children from several local parishes including Bârzava, Căpruța, Monoroștia, Groșii Noi, Julița, and Conop. The program featured educational activities, sports, and thematic workshops supported by local authorities and volunteers.

Simultaneously, the fourth edition of the ‘Tabăra Bucuriei’ (Camp of Joy) took place in Moneasa. Organized through a partnership between the Archdiocese of Arad, the Episcopate of Dacia Felix, and the Arad County Council, this camp specifically targets Romanian youth from the Episcopate of Dacia Felix, many of whom come from mixed families. The program aims to help young people from Serbia maintain their Romanian identity, language, and faith through non-formal education, sports, and spiritual conferences.
