Archdiocese of Suceava and Rădăuți begins priestly capacity exams

The autumn session of the Priestly Capacity Exam commenced on September 28, 2026, at the Suceava Eparchial Center. Organized by the Educational-Theological and Administrative-Church Sectors of the Archdiocese of Suceava and Rădăuți, the examination is a requirement for candidates seeking ordination.

Forty candidates, all licensed in Pastoral Theology and meeting necessary canonical and statutory conditions, participated in the session. Bishop-Vicar Damaschin Dorneanul attended the written exam as a delegate of Archbishop Calinic to offer encouragement and ensure the process remains transparent and correct. The exam subjects are designed to test both acquired theological knowledge and the ability to apply it to the missionary realities of the diocese.
