Archdiocese of Vitória joins international youth volunteer workshop

The Archdiocese of Vitória participated in a workshop hosted by the organization Mundus Eine Welt e. V. in Germany from July 19 to 25. The event focused on strengthening international partnerships for youth volunteer programs.

Representatives from various countries, including South Africa, Brazil, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, Namibia, Peru, Dominican Republic, Tanzania, and Vietnam, attended the meeting. Madagascar also participated virtually. The workshop allowed organizations to share methodologies, address common challenges in international volunteering, and discuss the social realities of their respective regions.

Elizabeth Regina Bento Lopes, representing the Archdiocese of Vitória, noted that the workshop was essential for improving methodologies to better prepare, welcome, and integrate young volunteers into different cultures and host families.
