Arche Noah animal shelter seeks homes for dachshunds Bibi and Bella

Two dachshund females, Bibi and Bella, were placed in the Arche Noah shelter in Gotha‑Uelleben, Germany after their owner died on 1 June 2026. Bibi, a brown rauhaardackel born in February 2025, is about one and a half years old, while Bella, a black kaninchenkurzhaardackel born in May 2017, is nine years old. Before entering the shelter the pair lived with two cats in a quiet household in Schönau vor dem Walde.

The shelter is looking for a joint permanent home for the two dogs, emphasizing that adopters should understand the specific needs and temperament of dachshunds. A previous adoption attempt failed because the chemistry between the dogs and the new owner was not right. Prospective adopters are asked to contact Arche Noah directly to arrange a meeting.
