Architect Jeffrey Dungan releases new monograph ‘The Soulful House’
Architect Jeffrey Dungan has released a new monograph titled ‘The Soulful House: Stories of Beauty, Belonging, and the Spirit of Home’, published by Rizzoli. The volume curates a collection of more than ten residential projects that reflect Dungan’s philosophy of creating architecture that emerges organically from its landscape.
The book features diverse projects ranging from a sun-washed retreat on the Pacific and a windswept cottage on the Nova Scotia coast to a reimagined Pennsylvania barn in the Dominican Republic and a ranch in the American West. It includes photography by Adrian Gaut and explores themes of emotion, balance, and form through various architectural styles and settings.
Specific projects highlighted include a sculpted residence in Manhattan Beach, California, designed with calming interiors by Katrina Hernandez and landscaping by Benner Reibel Landscape Architects and Autumn Child Design. The work emphasizes warm, livable interiors and natural finishes intended to integrate seamlessly with their specific sites and climates.
