Architectural competitions announced and concluded in Poland

Several architectural and urban planning competitions are underway or recently concluded in Poland.

In Czersk, the State Archaeological Museum in Warsaw and the Warsaw branch of the Association of Polish Architects (SARP) have launched a competition for the architectural concept of the Museum of Szkuta and Urzecze. The project involves constructing a 3,000 to 3,500 square meter exhibition building to house a 16th-century Vistula ship discovered near the Czersk castle. The facility will include exhibition halls, conservation workshops, educational spaces, and amenities such as a cafe and museum shop.

In Koszalin, an exhibition is currently open showcasing entries for the Jamno Transfer Center competition. Organized by the Municipality of Koszalin with SARP support, the project aims to develop the area near Lake Jamno into a hub combining transport, recreation, and tourism. The winning concept, submitted by Gąska Wojcieszak Architectural Studio, was selected from 19 entries. The planned investment, estimated at 37 million PLN, will include a main building, water pier, bicycle stations, and a promenade.
