Architectural workshops focus on sustainable construction and public health

Various architectural workshops and training sessions are scheduled to address sustainability and public health.

In Tortuguitas, Argentina, Maderera Newton will host the “De la Madera al Proyecto” event on October 24. This free session focuses on the potential of wood in real estate development, covering wood drying and preservation, mass timber systems such as Cross-Laminated Timber (CLT) and Glue-Laminated Timber (GLT), and industrialized housing for self-builders.

In El Recuenco, Spain, the “Primum Non Nocere” project, an initiative by the Superior Council of Architects of Spain (CSCAE), will hold a workshop on October 17. The event explores the relationship between architecture, public space, and physical, mental, and social health. Supported by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Agenda, the workshop includes expert discussions and practical activities to examine how living and working environments impact collective well-being.
