Architecture and design events announced in Florence and Milan

Upcoming architectural events in Italy will focus on professional development and future urban sustainability. In Florence, the International Festival of Architecture will feature audiovisual projections from architecture and design students. The event includes a roundtable discussion titled ‘A Look to the Future’ at Piazza delle Murate, featuring Caterina Biti, the Councilor for Urban Planning. The volunteer association Idra will also provide documentation regarding a significant historical and cultural case study to assist students in their academic research.

In Milan, the ARCHITECT@WORK event is scheduled for November 11 and 12, 2026, at the Allianz MiCo. Designed for architects and interior designers, the exhibition focuses on new materials, construction technologies, and digital tools. The event features a selection of products evaluated by an independent technical commission and includes a cultural program with professional talks on contemporary design and monument restoration.
