Architecture and design exhibitions announced for Milan and Vilnius

Major design and architecture events are scheduled for 2026. Milano Design Week will take place from April 21 to 26, 2026, under the theme ‘Essere Progetto’ (To Be a Project). The event features two primary components: Salone del Mobile, held at the Rho exhibition complex, and Fuorisalone, which utilizes various urban spaces. The theme focuses on the human being as an active subject and embraces imperfection as a natural part of the development process.

In Lithuania, the 11th ARCHzona exhibition is set for October 2026 in Vilnius. Held at the LITEXPO center, this specialized design, interior, and architecture exhibition will include company expositions, student works from Vilnius TECH, and the ‘Metų interjeras / Auksinė paletė’25’ awards. A key highlight is the AQUAurbanistikos forum, ‘Water and the City’, which will discuss urban relationships with water and present various architectural projects from Kaunas and Klaipėda. The event will also feature a screening of the documentary film ‘Palio miestas’, honoring the late architect Jurgis Rimvydas Palys.
