Architecture Week events held in Spain

Architecture Week events are being held in different regions of Spain, focusing on urban identity and heritage.

In Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, the XII Architecture Week runs from October 2 to October 9 at the Martín Chirino Foundation. Under the theme ‘Specific City’, the event aims to reflect on how urban spaces are inhabited and transformed, emphasizing that cities are not interchangeable due to their unique geography, history, and climate. The program seeks to bridge the gap between professionals and the general public.

In the Balearic Islands, the 2026 Architecture Week, organized by the COAIB, takes place from October 5 to October 10. The program includes exhibitions on manor house memory, routes exploring Andalusi hydraulic networks, and lectures on the historical origins of Mallorcan architecture. The week also features a posthumous tribute to architect Xisco Pizà at Can Balaguer.
