Archivio Disarmo announces 2026 Golden Dove for Peace winners

The Archivio Disarmo has announced the recipients of the 42nd edition of the Golden Dove for Peace awards, scheduled to be held on November 23 at Sapienza University of Rome. The awards recognize contributions to peace through international relations and information.

The 2026 winners include illustrator Mauro Biani, RaiNews24 correspondent Angela Caponnetto, and publisher Franco Vaccari, founder of Rondine Cittadella della Pace. Additionally, Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, will receive the International Golden Dove award.

Each recipient was selected for their unique approach to peacebuilding: Biani through visual commentary on war, Caponnetto through reporting on migrant experiences, and Vaccari through educational dialogue initiatives.
