Arcieri Club Lido Wins Double Gold at Palmi Archery Competition

The Hunter & Field 12 + 12 archery tournament in Pignara, a frazione of Palmi (Italy), served as a qualifier for the upcoming Italian Championships in Vitulano. Organized by the Arcieri di Eragon society under president Rocco Schipilliti, the event saw members of Arcieri Club Lido claim two gold medals. Alessandro Poerio Piterà topped the boys’ division, while his brother Edoardo Poerio Piterà won the master category. The club’s youth coach praised the results and also noted Sofia Sgotto’s previous regional gold performance.

The competition highlighted the strength of the local archery community and secured the club’s place in the national championship lineup.
