Arcieri Club Lido Wins Gold at Palmi Archery Event

The Arcieri Club Lido took top honors at a naked‑bow (arco nudo) competition held in Pignara, a locality of Palmi, Italy. In the youth division, Alessandro Poerio Piterànella secured a gold medal, while master archer Poerio Piterà Edoardo also claimed gold, giving the club two first‑place finishes.

The event, organized by the local Arcieri society under president Rocco Schipilliti, served as a qualifier for the upcoming Italian championships in Vitulano scheduled for September. Officials praised the performances of the young athletes and highlighted the club’s strong showing in the field‑style hunting discipline.
