Arcángel performs flamenco and copla fusion at Teatro Lope de Vega

Flamenco singer Arcángel performed his show ‘La copla del cante’ at a sold-out Teatro Lope de Vega. The performance served as a musical journey exploring the intersection between flamenco and the copla genre.

Accompanied by Francis Gómez, Lito Mánez, and the duo Los Mellis, Arcángel integrated traditional flamenco styles with popular copla repertoire. The show avoided superficiality, instead focusing on a sophisticated hybridization of the two genres. The setlist included recognizable tracks such as ‘Te he de querer mientras viva’, ‘Triniá’, and ‘El emigrante’, while paying homage to historical figures of the genre.
