Arc’teryx expands outdoor footwear with new trail and winter boot models

Arc’teryx has introduced updates to its outdoor footwear lineup, including the Sylan 2 mountain trail shoe and the Postour 2-in-1 boot system.

The Sylan 2 is designed as a lighter, faster mountain-running shoe. Moving away from the knit upper of its predecessor, the new model features a superlight engineered woven upper. It also introduces a supercritical foam midsole paired with a carbon-fiber plate to increase energy return.

The Postour Boot is a hybrid system featuring a tall GORE-TEX waterproof overboot with Coreloft synthetic insulation and a Vibram Arctic Grip outsole for ice traction. The system includes a removable, standalone fleece-lined slipper with its own insulation and TPU outsole, intended for use after outdoor activities.
