Arctic Race of Norway cycling event scheduled for August

The 13th edition of the Arctic Race of Norway is scheduled to take place from August 13 to August 16. Organized by ASO and part of the UCI Pro Series, the race consists of four stages: Evenes to Myre, Bø i Vesterålen to Andenes, Stokmarknes to Storheia Summit, and Sortland to Narvik.

In Stokmarknes, local festivities will accompany the race. The starting area near Hotel Richard With will feature a podium, large screens, and a festival atmosphere with food stalls and live music. The third stage concludes at the Storheia Summit, where the Arctic Music Festival will host various bands throughout the day.

Key contenders for the general classification include Guillermo Thomas Silva, Lennert Van Eetvelt, Anders Foldager, and Alessandro Pinarello. The event is supported by sponsors such as Nordlaks and Equinor.
