Arcus Medical center opens renovated facility in Veliko Tarnovo

The renovated Arcus Medical center has officially opened in Veliko Tarnovo, located within the Dr. Stefan Cherkezov Hospital building. The facility aims to provide regional patients with access to modern diagnostics and highly specialized medical services, reducing the need for long-distance travel for healthcare.

The modernized base includes 18 renovated offices, three manipulation rooms, an elevator, and a functional ramp for accessibility. The center features endoscopic halls equipped with high-tech apparatus, a day hospital, a Mental Health Center, and a Clinical Trials Center. Medical services offered include cardiology, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, ENT, and psychiatry, alongside comprehensive laboratory testing for tumor markers, hormones, and microbiology.

Investor Docho Karaivanov and Manager Dr. Ilko Kosturkov emphasized that the investment focuses on bringing European-standard equipment and proven specialists to the region. The center operates under contracts with the National Health Insurance Fund and other health insurance funds. Patients can now book appointments through a new website and a dedicated call center.
