ARD crime series ‘Krimi aus Passau’ releases eleventh installment

The eleventh installment of the ARD crime series, ‘Wer einmal lügt. Ein Krimi aus Passau’, is scheduled for release on the ARD Mediathek starting Monday, September 7.

The plot follows ex-police officer Frederike Bader and her daughter Mia as they encounter Adam Nolan, Mia’s long-lost father, who resurfaces in Passau. While Adam was previously described as an investigative journalist who went into hiding due to dangerous enemies, Frederike suspects he is actually a criminal.

Adam becomes a suspect following the murder of antiquarian Anton Hofer. The investigation reveals that Adam had unsuccessfully attempted to purchase a rare fairy tale book from the victim shortly before his death.
