ARD Morgenmagazin presenter mistakes Dolly Buster for Dolly Parton

During a live broadcast of the German morning program ‘Morgenmagazin’ on ARD and ZDF, presenter Sven Lorig caused confusion by mistakenly announcing the death of entertainer Dolly Buster instead of American country music legend Dolly Parton.

Lorig, 54, stated that the program would look back at the life story of Dolly Buster, who had passed away at age 80. His co-presenter, Anna Planken, immediately intervened by shouting ‘DOLLY PARTON!’ to correct the error. Lorig apologized instantly, expressing shock at the slip of the tongue.
