ARD series ‘Die Diplomatin’ celebrates tenth anniversary with new Rome episode

The ARD television series ‘Die Diplomatin’ (The Diplomat) is celebrating its tenth anniversary with the release of its ninth episode, ‘Die Diplomatin in Rom – Gefährliche Lügen’. Starring Natalia Wörner as Karla Lorenz, a diplomat for the German Foreign Office, the series continues to blend crime elements with politics and culture.

Set against the backdrop of Rome, the new installment follows Lorenz and new cultural attaché Florian Martin, played by Langston Uibel, as they investigate an archaeological sensation that is threatened by greed and ambition. Lorenz is aided by Roman investigator Ricarda Motte. The episode is scheduled to air on August 29 on ARD, with earlier availability on the ARD Mediathek starting August 27.
