Arda Güler earns praise following decisive Real Madrid performance

Real Madrid midfielder Arda Güler has drawn significant praise following a decisive performance in a 3-2 LaLiga victory against FC Elche. The 20-year-old secured the win by scoring a direct free kick in stoppage time.

Spanish media and commentators have lauded the Turkish player, with some describing him as Real Madrid’s ‘best player’ due to his ability to improve his teammates' performances and provide structure through his passing and movement. While observers noted that he previously struggled in midfield roles due to physical robustness, he appears to be reaching his potential under current management.

Former footballer Zlatan Ibrahimovic also commented on Güler’s rising status, comparing his qualities to legendary players such as Maradona, Messi, and Totti. Ibrahimovic identified Güler as a natural ‘number 10’ and suggested he is one of the top five midfielders in the world, possessing the potential to become one of the best players globally.
