Arda Güler named primary set-piece taker at Real Madrid

Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho has established a new hierarchy for set-piece takers to improve the team's efficiency in dead-ball situations. Following criticisms regarding the team's performance in set pieces during recent matches, Mourinho has designated Arda Güler as the primary option for corners and free kicks.

According to reports, the new order of specialists includes Arda Güler as the first choice, followed by Trent Alexander-Arnold, Bernardo Silva, and Brahim Diaz. While Kylian Mbappe will retain responsibility for penalty kicks, he will no longer be the primary taker for strategic free kicks and corners.

Güler's role is bolstered by his recent form, having contributed to four goals (one goal and three assists) in seven appearances this season. His performance has also helped solidify his position within the starting eleven.
