Ardahan flower honey price fixed at 1900 lira per kg for 2026

The Ardahan Chamber of Commerce and Industry set the 2026 sales price of the geographically‑protected Ardahan flower honey at 1,900 Turkish lira per kilogram. The decision was taken at a meeting of sector representatives, with the chamber’s president Çetin Demirci noting that neighboring provinces’ market conditions were also considered.

İlhan Evliyaoğlu, head of the Ardahan Beekeepers Union, said the price will be communicated to producers. He highlighted that the region’s rich flora and high‑altitude pastures give the honey a distinctive aroma and quality, and that Ardahan hosts roughly 35,000 hives operated by more than 650 beekeepers.
