Ardara and Ardbeg announce new limited-edition whiskey releases

The Ardara Distillery has released the 2026 Edition of its Ardara Single Malt Irish Whiskey. This second release of the heavily peated Donegal single malt aims to revive the traditional smoky whiskey heritage of the region, which was inspired by a family recipe from the founder's grandfather. Following the success of its first release in 2025, the distillery is expanding its reach into the USA, Germany, France, and the UK.

In the Scotch whisky sector, Ardbeg has introduced a new limited-edition release called Ardbeg Dolce. To celebrate Ardbeg Day, the distillery created this single malt by maturing it in a combination of classic bourbon barrels and Sicilian Marsala dolce casks. The release is designed to balance Mediterranean sweetness with Islay peat, featuring tasting notes of apricot, orange marmalade, and dark chocolate.
